Educational qualification:

B.Sc programme in Biotechnology and Microbiology: The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have passed in higher secondary examination or its equivalent with 60 percent marks in physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology taken together.

M.Sc Bioinformatics programme: The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have a graduation degree in any discipline of science including mathematics, engineering or medicine. Background in mathematics or computer science will be preferred.

M.Sc Microbiology and Biotechnology programmes: The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have done graduation in any discipline of biological sciences, engineering (biotechnology), medicine or equivalent with background in biology.

B.Sc Programmes:

The candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in higher secondary or equivalent board examination.

M.Sc Programmes:

On the basis of marks obtained in higher secondary or equivalent board examination, candidates will be shortlisted for a personal interview at Amrita School of Biotechnology.
